Who am I?

I’m just a girl with a passion for playing piano, making music, and helping others in a similar way to how music has helped me.

I graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music (M.M.) post-pandemic, and started my own business in teaching with the help of my wonderful teachers. I accompany at my alma mater and at a few Suzuki violin schools in the Greater Boston area, and I frequently perform my own recitals with friends and colleagues. It is my intention to pursue further education in the intersectional fields of music performance and disability advocacy.

I was born with a left ulnar deficiency, which is just a fancy way of describing no left elbow, and only 3 fingers on my left hand. I stubbornly resolved to playing piano at a young age, and I guess I never stopped playing after that. :)

I am also a Chinese-born adopted American. I love my adoptive family very much, am forever grateful for the life I’m so privileged to live, and one day hope to find my birth family. In the in-between, music completes me.

In my spare time I enjoy running outdoors, cooking new recipes, and hanging out at home with my two cats~ Mylo and Squishy.
